25-Year-Old Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Del Mar Heights Crash at Del Mar Heights Road and Mar Scenic Drive

Del Mar Heights, California (October 19, 2021) – A 25-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a Saturday evening traffic accident in Del Mar Heights, authorities said.
The major injury motorcycle accident happened at about 6:38 p.m., on October 16, at Del Mar Heights Road and Mar Scenic Drive.
According to the police, a 2012 Nissan Moreno, driven by a 16-year-old girl, was headed northbound on Mar Scenic Drive was attempting to turn left onto Del Mar Heights Road when it collided with an eastbound on Del Mar Heights Road.

The 25-year-old rider was hospitalized with serious head trauma. The injuries were non-life-threatening.
The driver of the SUV was not injured in the collision.
