6 Injured in Los Angeles Crash at Fifth Street and Los Angeles Street
Los Angeles, California (October 20, 2021) – Six people, including two LAPD officers, were hospitalized after a Tuesday morning crash involving an LAPD cruiser in downtown Los Angeles.
The collision occurred at about 10:50 a.m. in the area of Fifth and Los Angeles streets, according to the LAPD.
An LAPD cruiser with front-end damage was found in the middle of a crosswalk with its airbags deployed.
Two officers were injured in the accident and were transported to an area hospital.
Four bystanders were injured in the accident. One had major injuries and the other three had minor injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
