1 Seriously Injured in North Auburn Crash at Highway 49 and Edgewood Road
North Auburn, California (October 21, 2021) – One person sustained serious injuries following a traffic collision that happened Wednesday evening in North Auburn, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The major injury crash happened at around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, at the intersection of Highway 49 and Edgewood Road, near the Social Security Administration.
As per the CHP report, a white Subaru collided with a white Dodge Ram in the northbound lane of Highway 49 at Edgewood Road.
Two-Vehicle Crash in North Auburn
One patient was transported to a local hospital with major injuries. The name of the patient and their condition were not immediately disclosed.
Authorities blocked northbound Highway 49 at Edgewood due to the crash.
No further details regarding the crash were immediately provided.
