2 Injured in Smith River Crash on Highway 101
Smith River, California (October 22, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized Thursday morning following a traffic collision in Smith River, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at around 8:37 a.m. in the 7650 block of Highway 101.
As per the CHP report, a grey Toyota pickup truck collided with a silver van on Highway 101. One of the vehicles had its airbags deployed following the collision.

Two patients were taken to Howard Hospital in unknown conditions.
The highway was closed during the investigation.
