La Mesa, California (October 22, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a minor injury collision involving a DUI driver that happened Thursday night in La Mesa.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 10:24 p.m. on westbound 8 Freeway at Lake Murray Boulevard.
A party called authorities reporting that another driver crashed into him.
Police officers responded to the scene and determined that one of the drivers was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The crash resulted in minor injuries to an unknown number of parties. An ambulance was sent to the scene to offer medical aid to those hurt.
