Bakersfield Accident at Highway 178 and Beale Avenue Seriously Injures 1
Bakersfield, California (October 26, 2021) – Major injuries were reported Monday evening following a multi-vehicle collision at an intersection in Bakersfield.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened on Highway 178 and Beale Avenue just before 7:30 p.m.
The accident involved a Ford Explorer and two other automobiles that crashed on the westbound side of the roadway for undetermined reasons.
Due to the impact, one of the vehicles overturned, and a person was pinned inside the wreckage.

Firefighters rescued the trapped victim, who was then rushed to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries sustained in the accident.
The victim's current condition and name were not readily available at the time of the report.
