At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Riverside Car Crash on State Route 91 at Tyler Street
Riverside, California (October 28, 2021) – Authorities are investigating an early Thursday morning traffic collision that happened in Riverside, resulting in major injuries.
The State Route 91 crash occurred at around 1:39 a.m. in the westbound lanes at Tyler Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided under unclear circumstances, blocking the roadway.
Emergency crews responding to the crash said at least one person suffered major injuries in the accident. An ambulance was sent to the scene to take the victim to the hospital.
The report said a separate two-vehicle collision with property damage only also occurred at the same scene at around the same time.
CHP is investigating the collisions.
