1 Killed in Ukiah Plane Crash at Ukiah Municipal Airport

Ukiah, California (October 28, 2021) – One person was killed when a plane crashed in Ukiah on Thursday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The incident was reported at around 1:14 p.m. at the Ukiah Municipal Airport.
According to the report, the single-engine, four-seat Cessna Skyhawk, was heading from Napa County Airport and as it attempted to land at the Ukiah airport, it crashed and came to a rest upside down at the end of the runway.

The plane was only carrying the pilot at the time of the accident.
The pilot was pronounced deceased at the scene shortly after the wreck.
It's unclear what caused the plane to crash.
The incident is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
