Sun Valley, California (November 1, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a traffic collision that occurred Sunday morning on a freeway in Sun Valley, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Two vehicles collided at around 8:52 a.m. on southbound , near Lankershim Boulevard.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the motorists.

An unknown number of parties suffered minor injuries in the accident. The responders were offered medical aid by the paramedics. It was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.

The Nos. 1, 2, and HOV lanes were blocked for an unknown period following the accident.
