1 Suffers Major Injuries in Redding DUI Motorcycle Crash on Daniels Lane and Bear Mountain Road

Redding, CA: 1 Seriously Injured When Motorcycle Collides with Pickup Truck on Daniels Ln and Bear Mountain Rd

, California (November 4, 2021) – On Wednesday afternoon, authorities received reports of a serious injury crash that involved a motorcycle and a pickup in Redding, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The driver of a pickup truck called 911, reporting that a motorcycle had collided into the side of his Chevrolet Avalanche, resulting in him being trapped inside.

The incident occurred at around 4:14 p.m. at the intersection of Daniels Lane and Bear Mountain Road.

One person sustained a broken right clavicle in the accident. An ambulance was sent to the scene to take the patient to the hospital.

Authorities added that one of the drivers was suspected of being under the influence of drugs at the time of the collision. That person was expected to answer DUI charges.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
