2 Die in San Jose Accident on Bailey Avenue near Monterey Road

San Jose, California (November 5, 2021) – Two people died following a crash in San Jose on Friday morning, according to San Jose police.
The incident involved two vehicles and occurred on Bailey Avenue near Monterey Road just before 10:13 a.m.
Police said a 1991 Chevrolet truck was westbound on Bailey Avenue when it swerved into the eastbound side and collided head-on with a BMW.

A woman who was a passenger in the truck was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the truck was rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The other motorist was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
