1 Person Killed in Loma Linda Big Rig Crash on Interstate 10 near Tippecanoe Avenue

Loma Linda, California (November 6, 2021) – One person died at the scene of a traffic collision involving a big rig that happened Friday night in Loma Linda, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck occurred at around 10:38 p.m. on westbound Interstate 10 near Tippecanoe Avenue.
Reportedly, an unknown sedan was blocking traffic lanes for unknown reasons and was struck by a big rig.
The big rig ended up down an embankment.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced one person dead. The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner was requested to respond to the scene following the deadly accident.
Caltrans closed the southbound Tippecanoe Avenue on-ramp to westbound Interstate 10 and the mainline slow lane following the accident.
CHP is investigating the cause of the wreck.
