Rider Seriously Injured in Carlsbad Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 5 near Cannon Road
Carlsbad, California (November 6, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a crash that occurred on Interstate 5 in Carlsbad on Friday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident happened just before 1:56 p.m. near Cannon Road.
CHP said a Toyota Sienna and a red motorcycle collided on the southbound side of I-5.
The emergency crews responded to the accident and found the rider in the center divider.

The motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital with major injuries.
The other driver was uninjured and remained at the scene of the accident.
The southbound lanes of the interstate were temporarily shut down for the investigation.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
