Minor Injuries Reported in Cerritos Crash on 91 Freeway at Bloomfield Avenue

Cerritos, California (November 6, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday morning big rig accident that resulted in minor injuries in Cerritos.
The accident happened at about 9:09 a.m. on the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway at Bloomfield Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a big rig collided with a gray Toyota Camry on the freeway for undetermined reasons.
As a result of the crash impact, the semi-truck reportedly veered off the freeway, went down an embankment, and crashed into the front of a building at the Aria Apartment Homes.
Minor injuries were reported in the accident.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the collision.
More details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
