Person Seriously Injured in Lassen County Crash at Highway 395 and Standish Buntingville Road

Lassen County, California (November 11, 2021) – One person was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in the Buntingville area of Lassen County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury crash occurred at around 2:26 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, at the intersection of Highway 395 and Standish Buntingville Road.
According to CHP, a Lexus collided with a Toyota Highlander at the Buntingville intersection near Janesville.
As a result of the collision, the Toyota sustained right front-end damage.

Authorities said one patient was transported to a local hospital with major injuries.
The intersection of Highway 395 and Standish Buntingville was temporarily closed for one hour and a half as the authorities investigated the accident.
