Man Killed in Woodland Car Crash on County Road 97 near Highway 16
Yolo County, California (November 12, 2021) – A man driving a lawnmower died after being struck by a car in Woodland on Thursday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened at about 3:10 p.m. on County Road 97 near Highway 16.
The 58-year-old Woodland man was driving a Walker lawnmower northbound on County Road 97 when he was struck from behind by a car.
The unidentified man was killed in the crash.
The 34-year-old Woodland woman who was driving the car suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
