, California (November 13, 2021) – Three people were hospitalized after being involved in a two-vehicle collision near an intersection in Oxnard Saturday afternoon.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the DUI crash site at approximately 5:05 p.m. near Hueneme Road and Edison Drive.

The accident involved a silver Chevrolet Equinox and a blue-colored sedan that crashed on Hueneme Road, just east of the intersection with Edison Drive, for reasons still under investigation.

Major Injury Oxnard 2-Vehicle Accident

Three unidentified people, including at least one with major injuries, were attended to by paramedics before being rushed to the County Medical Center for further medication.

One of the involved motorists, who was intoxicated at the crash time, was arrested before being charged for DUI.

The collision resulted in the closure of the intersection for an unknown time.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
