Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Pope Valley Collision on Butts Canyon Road near Snell Valley Road
Pope Valley, California (November 13, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a traffic collision that left a motorcyclist with serious injuries Saturday afternoon in Pope Valley, Napa County.
The major injury crash took place on Butts Canyon Road, just south of Snell Valley Road, at approximately 1:29 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what caused a motorcycle to collide with a vehicle on the road in the afternoon.
Due to the impact, the rider was ejected from the bike and went 30 feet down a ditch.

The rider, whose identity was withheld, suffered serious injuries in the crash and was airlifted to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Information regarding the involved motorist was not available at the crash time.
