Three Injured in Manteca Crash on Highway 120 near Union Road
Manteca, California (November 18, 2021) – Three people were injured late Thursday morning in a chain reaction collision involving two big rigs in Manteca, the California Highway Patrol said.
The three-vehicle crash occurred shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Highway 120 near Union Road.
The incident began when one big rig slammed into the back of a second one, which then rear-ended a third vehicle.
Major Injury Crash in Manteca
A total of three people were injured in the accident. One of them sustained major injuries, and the other two had minor injuries.
The eastbound lanes of Highway 120 were shut down as the investigation and cleanup took place. As of 3:42 p.m., all lanes were reopened to traffic.
