, California (November 19, 2021) – The two people who were killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Oak Park on Wednesday evening have been identified by the Kern County Coroner's Office.

Lambert Glaspie, 69, of , and Shelly Hudek, 59, of Sacramento, died following the accident that occurred in the area near 42nd Street and Broadway at around 3:30 p.m. November 17.

According to Sacramento police, three vehicles were involved in the collision. It's unclear what led up to the crash.

One of the victims died at the scene of the crash while second was pronounced dead at a hospital.

One other involved party was hospitalized with major injuries following the incident.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
