One Person Injured in Los Angeles Motorcycle Crash on Highway 101 near Union
Los Angeles, California (November 19, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured in a Thursday morning traffic accident in Los Angeles, authorities said.
The accident occurred at about 4:57 a.m., on southbound Highway 101, just south of Union.
According to the California Highway Patrol, several vehicles, including a motorcycle, collided on the highway in unclear circumstances.
As a result of the crash impact, the rider was reportedly ejected from the motorcycle onto an embankment approximately 40 feet from the freeway.

The motorcyclist was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
Two other vehicles were involved, but the occupants suffered only minor injuries and were not taken to a hospital.
More details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
