Whitewater Accident at Highway 62 and Painted Hills Road Injures 2

Whitewater, California (November 20, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Whitewater that sent two people to the hospital Thursday evening.
The crash happened at Highway 62 and Painted Hills Road at approximately 6:35 p.m.
It was not immediately established how the collision occurred at the intersection.
Minor Injury Whitewater Car Accident
Two people, whose identities were not revealed, sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Both victims were attended to by paramedics before being rushed to the Desert Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
The crash resulted in the closure of the westbound lanes of Highway 62 at Painted Hills for unknown reasons.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
