Woman Hurt in Santa Ana Car Crash at North Main Street and West Main Place Drive

Santa Ana, California (November 21, 2021) – A woman was injured in a collision involving a suspected drunk motorist in Santa Ana early Saturday morning, according to authorities.
The crash was reported at around 12:35 a.m. November 20 at North Main Street and West Main Place Drive.
Authorities said a driver in a 2014 Dodge Charger allegedly ran a red light at the intersection and collided with a 2004 Honda CR-V at the intersection.

The Honda rolled onto its side and trapped a female passenger inside.
Emergency crews responded to the collision and extricated the trapped victim.
The woman was then transported to a hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
The driver of the Dodge, who was not injured, was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
