, California (November 20, 2021) –One person was hospitalized with serious injuries, including a head laceration, injuries after being involved in a multi-vehicle collision in Chico Friday afternoon.

The major injury crash happened on , just south of Garner Lane, shortly after 5:30 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how the three vehicles crashed on the northbound side of the roadway near DeGarmo Park.

One of the involved vehicles, a Ford Escape, acquired major rear-end damage upon the impact.
