25-Year-Old Benjamin Gusenkov ID'd as Motorcyclist Killed in Newport Beach Crash at 34th Street and Balboa Boulevard
Newport Beach, California (November 23, 2021) – The Orange County Sheriff-Coroner's Office has identified the motorcyclist who died Saturday evening following a traffic accident in Newport Beach as Benjamin Gusenkov, 25.
The deadly crash occurred at about 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20, at the intersection of 34th Street and Balboa Boulevard.
Gusenkov, a Laguna Niguel resident, was riding his motorcycle in the area when, for unknown reasons, he collided with a BMW sedan, authorities reported.

First responders found Gusenkov lying in the roadway unresponsive. Despite life-saving measures, Gusenkov was pronounced dead at the scene.
