1 Hospitalized after Highway 101 Accident near Lucas Valley Road in San Rafael
San Rafael, California (November 23, 2021) – One person was hospitalized Monday afternoon following a traffic collision on a highway in San Rafael, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash, involving two vehicles, was reported at around 2:51 p.m. Monday, November 22 on Highway 101, just north of Lucas Valley Road.
According to the CHP, two vehicles collided on the northbound side of the highway.

One person complained of pain after the crash. The victim, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was taken to the Kaiser Permanente San Rafael Medical Center with minor injuries.
The northbound lanes of Highway 101 near Lucas Valley Road were closed due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
