Pilot Dies in Plane Crash near French Valley Airport in Southern California
Temecula, California (November 23, 2021) – A pilot died after a small plane crashed near French Valley Airport in Temecula on Tuesday morning, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The single-engine Zodiac 601XL crashed into a field just southeast of French Valley Airport at around 10:30 a.m.
The pilot, the sole occupant of the plane, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the pilot was not immediately disclosed.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
