Christian Mendoza Among 3 Killed in Manhattan Beach Crash at Sepulveda Boulevard and Marine Avenue
Manhattan Beach, California (November 24, 2021) – Christian Mendoza, 48, of Redondo Beach, has been identified as one of the three people who died Tuesday night in a four-vehicle accident in Manhattan Beach.
The collision occurred at about 9:46 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Marine Avenue.
Manhattan Beach police said a vehicle was speeding in the area when it broadsided another vehicle. The crash triggered a chain reaction collision that involved two other vehicles.
After the impact, one of the involved vehicles, described as a white Toyota Prius, veered off the roadway and crashed into a nearby building.
Sepulveda Boulevard was littered with debris from the crash.

Mendoza and two other people were pronounced dead at the scene.
Another two adults and a juvenile were hospitalized, one with critical and two with serious injuries. Their current conditions were not available.
According to witnesses, one of the involved drivers possibly ran a red light before the collision.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
