Pilot Injured in Lockwood Valley Plane Crash near Kern-Ventura County Line
Bakersfield, California (November 25, 2021) – A pilot was critically injured after a plane crashed in Lockwood Valley on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Ventura County Fire Department, the incident was reported at about 3 p.m., November 24, just outside of Kern County lines in the area of Lockwood Valley Road and Cuddy Valley Road.
A pilot was the only occupant of the small plane.
The pilot was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.
Kern County Fire Department also responded to the crash.
No additional information about the crash was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
