County, California (November 26, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with severe injuries after a two-vehicle collision that occurred Thursday night near , the California Highway Patrol reported.

The wreck occurred at around 8:09 p.m. on eastbound near Road 180.

A white SUV collided with another car for unknown reasons. The SUV was blocking the roadway after the accident, and the other car went down an embankment.

Emergency crews responded to the scene to help the motorists involved.

One person was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with a possible broken pelvis. It was not clear if any other person was injured.
