At Least 1 Suffers Major Injuries in San Jose Car Crash on Interstate 880 near Bascom Avenue On-Ramp
San Jose, California (November 26, 2021) – At least one person sustained major injuries when two vehicles collided Thursday evening in San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol logs.
The wreck was reported at about 8:13 p.m. on northbound 880 Freeway, just north of the Bascom Avenue on-ramp.
The accident involved a silver Honda Accord and another vehicle.
At the time of the report, officers had not yet established what caused the collision.
At least one person was hospitalized with major injuries suffered in the accident.
Firefighters blocked the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes as they helped the motorists. All lanes were reopened at 9:07 p.m.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
