At Least 1 Suffers Major Injuries in Redondo Beach Crash on 405 Freeway at Inglewood Avenue
Redondo Beach, California (November 28, 2021) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a multi-car accident that took place Saturday night in Redondo Beach, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said the pileup occurred at around 11:25 p.m. on southbound 405 Freeway at Inglewood Avenue.
Four vehicles, including an SUV and a possible big rig, collided under unclear circumstances. An occupant of the SUV was possibly trapped inside after the wreck.
Firefighters responded to the scene and closed all southbound lanes.
At least one person sustained severe injuries in the accident. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
No other information was given, but authorities are investigating.
