Jose Cedillos Sr. Killed in Bakersfield Collision on Golden State Highway
Bakersfield, California (November 30, 2021) – The Kern County Coroner's Office has identified Jose Antonio Cedillos Sr. as the 38-year-old man who died after being involved in a two-vehicle accident at an intersection in Bakersfield Sunday afternoon, November 28.
The fatal crash took place in the area of Golden State Highway and Q Street at approximately 12:48 p.m.
An SUV reportedly broadsided a pickup truck at the Bakersfield intersection under unclear circumstances.

Jose Cedillos Sr., who was a passenger in the pickup truck, died at the hospital while undergoing treatment of major injuries sustained in the accident.
The unidentified pickup operator sustained moderate injuries in the crash.
An investigation into the deadly crash is underway.
