Imperial County Crash at Austin Road and Keystone Road Sends 1 to Hospital

Imperial County, California (December 1, 2021) – An Imperial County crash involving two vehicles near an intersection in Imperial County Tuesday morning resulted in serious injuries.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash site at about10:30 a.m. near Austin Road and Keystone Road.
The circumstances that led to the collision on Austin Road, just south of West Keystone Road, were not immediately established at the report time.

Paramedics responded to the scene and attended to one unidentified person who had sustained major injuries in the crash. The patient was then rushed to a local hospital for further treatment.
The accident resulted in the closure of a section of Austin Road near Keystone for an unknown time.
