Schoolboy Injured in Fresno Pedestrian Collision at Ashlan Avenue and Thorne Avenue
Fresno, California (December 2, 2021) – A 14-year-old boy was injured after being hit by a car in a crosswalk in central Fresno on Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the area of Ashlan and Thorne Avenues at about 8 a.m.
The boy was walking to school when he was hit by a car.
The schoolboy suffered moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
