2 Injured in West Sacramento Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Enterprise Boulevard

West Sacramento, California (December 6, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that happened Sunday afternoon in West Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck was reported at about 2:33 p.m. on eastbound 80 Freeway, near the Enterprise Boulevard off-ramp.
The report said a white Volkswagen that was recklessly driving, and swerving and veering to the right-hand shoulder collided with a gray sedan. The gray sedan went off the roadway and into a ditch after the first impact.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported two parties who suffered minor injuries to the hospital.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the collision and the party to be held accountable.
