At Least 1 Injured in Corona Crash on Interstate (15) Freeway at Riverside (91) Freeway

Riverside County, California (December 7, 2021) – At least one person was injured Tuesday morning in a multi-vehicle collision in Corona, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at around 8:51 a.m. on the Interstate (15) Freeway at the transition to the Riverside (91) Freeway.
CHP said about three to seven vehicles were involved in the collision. The cars were blocking the slow lane of the northbound Interstate (15) Freeway at the transition to the eastbound SR-91 Freeway after the crash.
One of the involved vehicles, a gray Jeep Wrangler, pulled to the right shoulder. A tow truck was dispatched to the scene to remove the wrecked vehicles.
Multi-Vehicle Crash in Riverside County
Medical personnel responded to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. At least one patient was possibly taken to a hospital for further treatment.
No other details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
