2 Seriously Injured in Clovis Car Crash on Auberry Road near Ventana Drive

Clovis, California (December 8, 2021) – Two people were airlifted to the hospital after a car crash that happened Tuesday afternoon in Clovis, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on Auberry Road near Ventana Drive.
A silver Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a maroon Honda Accord were involved in the accident.
According to a witness, the Honda was recklessly driving and almost hit his vehicle but swerved and struck the pickup truck.
One person was trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Two people sustained serious injuries in the crash. Responding emergency crews requested two air ambulances to transport the victims to the hospital.
The roadway was entirely shut down following the accident.
An investigation is ongoing.
