1 Killed in Lafayette Crash on St. Stephens On-Ramp to Highway 24
Lafayette, California (December 11, 2021) – A multi-vehicle collision has claimed the life of one person early Saturday morning in Lafayette, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The deadly crash occurred at about 1:30 a.m. at the St. Stephens on-ramp to Highway 24.
According to the CHP, the collision involved several vehicles. Details on what led to the accident were not immediately available.
The eastbound lanes of Highway 24 were blocked during the investigation. All lanes were reopened by 4:00 a.m.
The accident remains under investigation.
