Rider Hospitalized after Brawley Motorcycle Accident at Highway 115 and Silliman Road
Brawley, California (December 12, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a big rig Friday evening in Brawley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury crash happened just before 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, at the intersection of Highway 115 and Silliman Road.
CHP said the motorcyclist was making a U-turn on the roadway when they collided with a semi-truck at the Brawley intersection.
Following the collision, the motorcycle became trapped underneath the big rig.

First responders found the motorcycle rider lying on the ground with major injuries. The patient was then taken to a nearby hospital.
The operator of the truck stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The intersection of Highway 115 and Silliman Road was blocked during the investigation.
