California Highway Patrol Motorcycle Officer Hospitalized after Inglewood Crash on San Diego (405) Freeway near Manchester Boulevard
Inglewood, California (December 12, 2021) – A California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer was injured Sunday evening in a traffic collision in Inglewood, authorities said.
The wreck occurred just before 7:00 p.m. on the San Diego (405) Freeway, just south of Manchester Boulevard.
According to the authorities, the CHP officer was riding a motorcycle on the southbound side of the freeway when, for an unknown reason, he was struck by a vehicle.

The officer, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was taken to a local hospital with moderate to minor injuries.
The involved driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The No. 3, 4, and 5 lanes were closed at 7:03 p.m. but were later reopened.
