2 Suffer Minor Injuries in Lake Forest Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Los Alisos Boulevard
Lake Forest, California (December 13, 2021) – Two people were sent to the hospital after a traffic collision that happened Sunday night in Lake Forest, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck occurred at about 10:21 p.m. on northbound 5 Freeway, just north of Los Alisos Boulevard.
CHP said the accident involved two vehicles. One of them overturned and landed back on its wheels after the impact.
Authorities did not immediately establish the cause of the accident.
Two people were taken to Hoag Hospital Irvine with minor injuries.
The crash left two lanes of the freeway closed as investigators worked the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
