1 Suffers Minor Injuries in Norwalk Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Norwalk Boulevard
Norwalk, California (December 15, 2021) – One person was sent to the hospital with minor injuries after a traffic collision that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Norwalk, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported at about 2:35 p.m. on northbound 5 Freeway, near Norwalk Boulevard.
As per the CHP report, a box truck that was allegedly recklessly driving lost its tires and went across traffic lanes, colliding with a gray Honda Insight. The truck overturned onto its side.
One person sustained minor injuries in the accident. The patient was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The No. 1 lane was blocked for an unknown duration following the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
