1 Hospitalized after Sacramento Car Accident on Interstate 80 near Northgate Boulevard
Sacramento, California (December 15, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after being hurt in a Tuesday night traffic collision in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A semi-truck and a sedan collided just before 9 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 80 near Northgate Boulevard. The sedan went off the roadway after the collision.
Firefighters responded to the scene to find one person with unspecified injuries. The patient was taken to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities did not immediately establish the cause of the crash, but an investigation is ongoing.
