Several Injured in Newman Crash on Kelley Road at Turner Avenue
Newman, California (December 15, 2021) – Several people were injured and at least one person was hospitalized Tuesday morning following a traffic collision involving two vehicles in Newman, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The two-car crash happened at around 8:46 a.m. Tuesday, December 14 in the 5297 block of Kelley Road at Turner Avenue.
According to CHP, a small Toyota sedan collided with an SUV under unclear circumstances. After the collision, one of the vehicles crashed into a fence.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene to provide medical aid to four or five injured people. At least one patient was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
As of 9:10 a.m., the roadway was blocked as the authorities investigated the accident. Tow trucks were dispatched to the crash site to remove the wrecked vehicles.
The accident remains under investigation.
