Minor Injuries Suffered in San Clemente Car Crash on 5 Freeway near San Luis Rey
San Clemente, California (December 15, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a minor injury accident that happened Tuesday evening in San Clemente.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck involved two vehicles and occurred at about 8:11 p.m. on northbound 5 Freeway at San Luis Rey.
A white BMW collided with a white Mercedes, forcing one of them to overturn.
Several witnesses told authorities that both vehicles were traveling at speeds of 100+ prior to the collision.
The crash resulted in minor injuries to an unknown number of parties. An ambulance was sent to the scene to offer medical aid.
CHP is investigating the accident.
