Minor Injuries Suffered in Emeryville Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Powell Street Off-Ramp
Emeryville, California (December 15, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in an early Wednesday morning traffic collision that occurred on eastbound 80 Freeway in Emeryville, the California Highway Patrol reported
The incident was reported at about 2:22 a.m. just west of the Powell Street off-ramp.
A white Honda Accord and a blue Toyota Prius were involved in the accident. The vehicles also hit and broke a ‘lane ends merge left' yellow sign and its post, as per the report.
Responding emergency crews said the accident resulted in minor injuries. Those injured were offered medical aid at the scene, but it was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
The cause of the collision was not immediately established, but an investigation is ongoing.
