, California (December 15, 2021) – The Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau has identified the woman who died Wednesday morning following a car crash in Jurupa Valley as Katherine Hoth, 53, of .

The deadly two-car crash happened at around 7:22 a.m. at the intersection of Limonite Avenue and Clay Street.

Authorities said two vehicles collided for unknown reasons at the Jurupa Valley intersection.

Victim Killed in Jurupa Valley Collision Identified as Riverside Resident

Hoth, who was driving one of the vehicles, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the same vehicle was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.

The other driver was also hospitalized with unspecified injuries.

It is undetermined whether alcohol and/or drugs played a role in the collision.

Police temporarily closed both lanes of Limonite Avenue between Spectrum Center and Baldwin Avenue as they investigated the accident. Clay Street from De Anza to Limonite Avenue was also shut down.
