Two Hospitalized in Critical Condition after Los Angeles Crash on N Balboa Boulevard and Sherman Way
Los Angeles, California (December 16, 2021) – Two people were critically injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Monday night in Lake Balboa, a neighborhood in Los Angeles, as per a local news source.
The crash took place at about 9:43 p.m. in the 7200 block of North Balboa Boulevard at Sherman Way.
The Los Angeles police and fire departments responded to the scene after receiving reports of the multi-vehicle collision with entrapment.
The responders found four vehicles involved in the crash, with two people trapped in one of the cars.
The firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extricate the victims from their SUV. Both parties, whose identity remains unknown, were taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
The report said there were no other injuries sustained.
Authorities said rain had just started falling when the crash occurred.
The cause of the accident is under active investigation.
