Person Injured in Sacramento Crash on Interstate 5 near Cosumnes River Boulevard
Sacramento, California (December 16, 2021) – One person was hospitalized Thursday morning following a traffic collision in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 3:00 a.m. on Interstate 5 near Cosumnes River Boulevard.
A Kia Soul collided with an Amazon big rig on the northbound side of the interstate, the CHP said.

The driver of the Kia was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
The big rig driver did not suffer any injuries.
